What is Needlepoint?

Traditionally, needlepoint is defined as embroidery done on canvas, either by hand or by machine. Needlepoint can be done using a variety of threads, including cotton, wool, silk, and even metal threads. Varying the stitches creates an effect of texture and depth.

To see examples of pieces done using needlepoint, please feel free to browse through my online gallery.

All of the pieces created at Loops are handmade and free of shatnez (a Torah prohibited mixture of wool and linen).
